I’ve always hated the catchphrase, “It’s always the ones you love who hurt you the most.”   Well of course this is true. It extends to more than just the people you love, but also to those you trust, respect and admire. It’s an uncomfortable paradox that the people you let in or put most faith in are, in turn, given the power to be most destructive and disappointing.
